telc Deutsch C1 is a German-language exam at CEFR level C1, with which you demonstrate advanced German skills – for everyday life, work and university entry. We offer both variants: telc Deutsch C1 allgemein (general) and telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule (university). You sit the exam – as an external candidate too – with us at the Frankfurt test centre.

C1 allgemein tests general language competence for everyday life and work; C1 Hochschule tests academic language skills (mediation, presentation, academic writing) and is recognised as language proof for university entry in Germany.
In Germany, telc GmbH is the German federal government's partner for the language exam concluding the integration courses. telc German certificates are recognised in all German-speaking countries for residence permits; B1 can serve as language proof for naturalisation.
