[ CELPIP Test Frankfurt ]

The CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) is the leading English language test for immigration and naturalisation to Canada. Eloquia is an official Paragon Test Centre in Frankfurt – you sit the test on computer with us on site. Registration takes place via the official platform celpip.ca.

Two versions

CELPIP-General & CELPIP-General LS

CELPIP-General tests all four skills and is recognised, among other things, for Canadian Permanent Residence (Express Entry). CELPIP-General LS covers only Listening & Speaking and is accepted for Canadian citizenship. Both are delivered by Paragon Testing Enterprises (a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia).

Test structure & duration

Four components in one sitting

Listening · approx. 47–55 min

Listening comprehension on the computer with microphone and headset.

Reading · approx. 55–60 min

Reading comprehension, completed using mouse and keyboard.

Writing · approx. 53–60 min

Two writing tasks on the computer.

Speaking · approx. 15–20 min

Speaking tasks, recorded via microphone – no separate sitting.

Total duration under around 3 hours. Reading and Listening are scored automatically; Writing and Speaking are assessed by trained raters. Results are reported on the CELPIP scale from level 1 to 12. (CELPIP-General LS covers only Listening and Speaking.)

What do I need the CELPIP for?

The CELPIP is an IRCC-recognised proof of English for immigration (Permanent Residence) and naturalisation to Canada, as well as for some professional bodies.

What is the difference between General and General LS?

How quickly will I receive my results?
