The B2 First (FCE) proves that you can use English confidently at work and in study. It is one of the world's best-known English certificates, accepted by thousands of universities and employers and valid for life – although individual institutions may require recent results.
Reading comprehension as well as vocabulary and grammar (multiple choice, gap-fill, matching).
Two texts – e.g. an essay, email/letter, report or review.
Conversations, interviews and monologues in a variety of accents.
Interaction with an examiner (often in pairs): individual and collaborative speaking.
Total duration approx. 3 hr 30 min – short breaks between the exam parts are possible.
